Announcing the 2015 Refresher Course Speakers

Featured Speakers Assistants to Infancy Judi Orion, Director of Training at The Montessori Institute, will speak on Indirect Preparations for Exploration. Primary Trainer at Montessori Northwest, Sarah Werner Andrews, will lead the Primary Level attendees in considering Exploration and Self-Construction. Elementary Greg MacDonald and Kay Baker, Trainers together at the Montessori Institute of San Diego, will address Cosmic Education Behind the Scenes. Administrators Workshop Michael Thompson, Ph.D. is a consultant, author and psychologist specializing in children and families.  He will work with the Administrators on understanding parents and understanding teachers.

Join us in Atlanta, Georgia, February 13-16, for the 2015 Refresher Course and Workshops! This year’s theme, Exploration: Re-Examining the Adult’s Role in the Child’s Discovery, is designed to encourage attendees to reflect on how the adult provides the spark and the context for the child to make his own discoveries in the world. Our presenters will urge us toward an embrace of fluidity in our practice and an examination of our roles behind the scenes.
