The Montessori Public Policy Initiative is a joint project of the Association Montessori International of the United States (AMI/USA) and American Montessori Society (AMS). Understanding the importance of active involvement in public policy work both at the state and federal level, AMI/USA and AMS are working together through MPPI to create a stronger voice in support of children in the United States.

As the experts on Montessori policy and advocacy, MPPI unites, supports, and equips the Montessori community, creating an effective advocacy voice for quality Montessori education. MPPI drives education policy change so that all children have access to the gifts of a Montessori education. Our work is guided by our vision of a world enriched and made equitable through widely accessible and fully implemented Montessori education.
