Sunny Hollow Montessori, an established AMI-accredited school in St. Paul, Minnesota, is looking for a Full Time Upper Elementary Guide to lead an established classroom of approximately 20 students in 4th – 6th grade. The successful candidate will join a team of three incredible Elementary Montessori Guides and a thriving Montessori community.
The Upper Elementary Guide is the educational leader of the classroom with the primary responsibility of creating an authentic Montessori learning environment to support the developmental needs of elementary children. Sunny Hollow serves approximately 180 students in Toddler through Junior High programs.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
1-3 years of experience working with children in a school
Willingness to earn a Montessori Elementary diploma (sponsorship available)
Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging work
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
AMI or AMS Elementary Diploma
1-3 years of experience as an Upper Elementary Guide
Compensation:
Starting salaries range from $55,000 – $72,000 depending on education and experience. Sunny Hollow strives to be competitive with Public School salary scales.
