The Concordia School
Since 1973, the Concordia School has welcomed children ages 2-12 to a warm, Montessori community in Concord, CA, in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are an established, private Montessori school with staff and families who support and learn from each other. We are seeking an Upper Elementary guide to join us on our journey, beginning in August 2024.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
-AMI or AMS Credential: 6-12 preferred. Would consider a 6-9 credential with appropriate experience and a commitment to complete 9-12 training.
-Thoughtful, life-long learner with a passion for authentic Montessori education.
-Creative; motivated to encourage curiosity and independence in children.
-Enjoys working with 9-12-year-olds with respect, acceptance, humor, and love.
-Strives to communicate clearly with children, parents, and co-workers.
Our Upper Elementary classroom has 16-22 students and a full-time trained assistant.
Salary will be commensurate with education, training, and experience.
