Ruffing Montessori School, located in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, seeks a bright, energetic, and collaborative full-time AMI-trained Lower Elementary Lead Guide. The ideal candidate will have earned an AMI Elementary Diploma (6-12), possess strong classroom management skills, and have relevant experience working with young children. The incumbent will be a highly motivated individual, knowledgeable about the care and development of all children. This position will lead a group of 25-30 children and manage the care and maintenance of a Montessori Lower Elementary environment with the aid of a classroom assistant. The incumbent must have strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with families and colleagues. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for working with a team of professionals and possess a positive spirit and willingness to work cooperatively in an atmosphere of respect. The successful candidate will demonstrate keen enthusiasm and appreciation for Ruffing’s culture, values, and mission. Teaching experience in a Montessori environment is required. COVID vaccination is required to work at this school.
