Cascadia School Seeks Lower Elementary Guide; Vancouver, WA

Cascadia School is growing and seeks a Lower Elementary Guide; (1st – 3rd grade) for the 2024-2025 school year. Start: August 2024

Our ideal candidate has an AMI Elementary diploma and three years experience in a Montessori classroom, a Bachelor’s Degree, and a state teaching credential. The candidate can understand and work with a diverse range of learning styles.

The applicant is someone who is committed to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion work and can collaborate with others, communicate effectively, has strong organizational skills, and can build positive relationships with students, families, and co-workers.

This is a full-time salaried position. Salary is commensurate with knowledge & experience. Benefits include medical and dental insurance, a Simple IRA retirement plan, PTO, professional development stipend. The salary range starts at $54,000 and is commensurate with knowledge & experience.

Our Montessori school is located in Vancouver, Washington on 2.0 acres and is adjacent to Tranquility Green Space. Cascadia serves children in 1st through 8th grades. Our students come from local Children’s Houses as well as other private and public schools.
