We are looking for an Intergenerational Montessori Director (IMD) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Work in a beautiful senior center with both Assisted Living and Memory Care programs, built on the campus of an established Montessori school.
The ideal applicant will have AMI or AMS Montessori training, classroom experience, and dedication to authentic Montessori Theory and practices. AMI Practitioner for Dementia and Ageing Certificate is desired, or the applicant must be open to obtaining it.
As the IMD, you will advocate for and serve Elders using Montessori methodology and processes. You will help shape and implement an effective and robust intergenerational program in coordination with the director of the school. You will also oversee and guide care partners in the implementation of Montessori theory in all interactions.
