Hershey Montessori School
Hershey Montessori School’s gracious and collaborative staff invite you to join the Assistants to Infancy/Toddler team for a full-time lead teaching position in our Young Child Community. The Guides and Assistants in the A to I team have a broad range of experience and longevity and meet weekly to support each other in a culture that ensures every voice is heard and that community decision making is done by consent. This role guides children from 12 through 36 months of age in a fully equipped, prepared environment with its own dining and bedroom areas along with direct access to a dedicated fenced yard.
The Concord Campus programs are led by AMI-trained guides and serve children from infancy through elementary. This campus serves the Adolescent Community (ages 13 through 18 years) in both boarding and day programs and has been implementing a land-based Montessori pedagogy through 9th grade since 2000, expanding through high school grades for the first graduating class of 2018.
Hershey is fortunate to have a high-fidelity Montessori program, with parents and a board who are committed to, and advocating for, quality Montessori education for their children from infancy through high school.
Our school has a warm and vibrant staff culture built upon collaboration and supported by the long-term retention of experienced Montessori guides and assistants.
