Aidan Montessori School, located in Woodley Park, Washington DC, is accepting applications for a full-time, AMI Montessori-trained substitute for teachers for the 2021-2022 school year.
This is a full-time, fully-benefitted, substitute position with on-site hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily. Substitute will assist the children in a prepared Montessori environment in accordance with AMI guidelines, philosophy, pedagogy and methods appropriate for the particular age group to which they are assigned. They may work with any level of students, depending on daily needs. When not substituting, other duties may include making materials, supporting our remote learning program and/or supervising small groups of children on an as needed basis.
Candidates must have teaching experience. AMI diplomas preferred, AMS diplomas also accepted.
