Montessori at Roseborough

Montessori at Roseborough is an AMI recognized (0-6) and associated (6-12) urban school (0-3 through 15 years) that has been educating Prenatal to Adolescent children for 35 years in sunny Mount Dora, Florida. We are accepting applications for an Adolescent Program guide for the 2021-2022 school year.

Our school has one Adolescent classroom with access to our gymnasium a brand new home economics room. An outdoor space can to be utilized for gardening. The guide has the opportunity to bring individual strengths and interests to the environment. Beyond the work in the classroom, the Adolescent guide will direct the children in their micro economy, school and local community events.

Community participation and field trips, are all part of our thriving Adolescent program. Staff and students walk to our charming downtown, a nearby scenic lake, shops, lovely parks, inviting nature trails, library and art center. The students also participate in an annual end of year educational trip using the funds from their fundraising efforts. We enjoy the participation of our staff and families in our efforts to build a successful school community.

A bachelor’s degree and an AMI Elementary diploma or an Adolescent Program certificate are required. Continued development supported. Salary is based upon experience and education level.
