Nature's Way Montessori
Nature’s Way Montessori, in Napa CA is opening a new Infant-Toddler Program.
We are seeking two guides to lead the way in creating a wonderful space for the children of Napa. We are hoping to open in June 2021 but we have to find you first! We will be seeking someone with experience who will serve as Director of the Program as well as someone right out of training to lead one of the two groups.
Nature’s Way Montessori is a nature-based Montessori program following AMI principles with a full time garden curriculum, hiking and bringing nature into the classrooms. Our goal at NWM is for every child to leave with a life-long love for learning, the skill and ability to collaborate with others, and the confidence, courage and compassion to excel in life. We use nature around us as our prepared environments. Our school currently has a toddler class, two primary classrooms and an elementary program. Applicants should:
AMI Montessori training at the A to I level.
3-5 years experience in the classroom as a lead for the Director position
A deep knowledge and love of Montessori theory
Innovative problem solving skills
A desire to connect a community of staff, parents, and students to our vision
Flexibility in addressing children’s needs
Excellent observation skills
Great communication skills with parents
The ability to listen and be present
