Children's Own School
Children’s Own School, a private Montessori school serving children 15 months to 6 years, is seeking full time AMI or AMS trained guides at the Toddler and Primary levels for the coming 2023-2024 school year.
A Montessori tradition since 1942, Children’s Own School is one of the oldest continuously running Montessori schools in the Northeast. Located just about 7 miles outside of Boston in the suburb of Winchester, MA, Children’s Own offers beauty and accessibility in its location.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
• A committed, deep understanding and passion for authentic Montessori pedagogy and practice
• Confidence and experience in the lessons and extensions required in an A to I or 3-6 environment
• Experience in creating and maintaining professional relationships with students, parents, faculty and administration
Minimum Requirements:
• Must have an AMI or AMS Montessori Certificate from a recognized training program
• Experience working as a guide in a Toddler or Primary environment preferred, but not required
