Primary- We Are the Gardeners
Dr. Montessori spoke plainly about the role of nature in education and the many physical and psychological benefits of connecting children to nature. She spoke about the healing and strengthening powers that nature offers children for their well-being. Preparing an outdoor environment is also an essential part of the Montessori environment. This session will explore how outdoor spaces are considered integral aspects of the indoor environment and are created with the same intention and attention to detail and provide practice considerations and ideas for expanding your connection to nature.
