Located just a few minutes from downtown Cleveland and University Circle in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Ruffing Montessori School seeks a bright, energetic, and collaborative full-time AMI-trained faculty member for our Toddler Community, now in its 15th year. This co-educational, independent school, with over a 60 year history, serves children 18 months through 8th grade.

The ideal candidate will have completed the AMI Montessori 0-3 teacher training, possess strong classroom management skills, and have relevant experience working with young children. The incumbent will be a highly motivated individual, knowledgeable about developmental characteristics of the 0-3 age group, and passionate about the care and development of all children. The Guide will lead a group of 12 to 14 toddlers and manage the care and maintenance of a Montessori Toddler Community environment with the aid of an assistant. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for working with a team of professionals, possess a positive spirit and willingness to work cooperatively in an atmosphere of respect, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Most of all, the successful candidate will demonstrate keen enthusiasm and appreciation for Ruffing’s culture, values, and mission.
