REDS is seeking applications for an AMI-trained Toddler Guide for the 2025-2026 school year.

Situated on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, REDS is the only school in New York City with AMI primary and toddler recognition. We are an independent, non-profit school with a long tradition of providing the highest ideals of the Montessori pedagogy to our children. Though we are housed within the Church of the Resurrection, REDS is a separately incorporated organization. We have four primary environments with 20 children in each, and one toddler environment with 12 children. We pride ourselves on our strong sense of community and commitment to collaboration – both within the staff community as well as with our families. REDS offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as a particular dedication to the professional development of our faculty. We routinely send faculty members to the AMI refresher course, encourage faculty to engage in a variety of training courses, and host a yearly lecture series for both faculty and parents. Salary ranges from $83,000-$122,000

Requirements to apply include an AMI Assistants to Infancy or Primary diploma, master’s degree, and eligibility to work in the United States. Classroom experience is preferred. Please note, a New York State Teachers Certification or the willingness to begin working towards certification is required by our regulatory body. Support from the school in obtaining this will be offered.
