Breakthrough Montessori Public Charter School’s mission is to enable children to develop within themselves the power to shape their lives and the world around them. Founded in 2016, Breakthrough Montessori is a public charter school in Washington, DC. In the 2023-24 school year, we will serve 372 students in PK3 through grade 6.
Breakthrough Montessori PCS is a coaching school; all team members receive and give coaching to support professional growth. We are currently hiring a Principal. The Principal leads a talented team of educators dedicated to public Montessori education. The Principal is a school leadership team member and reports to the Executive Director. The Principal supervises the academic leadership team, teachers, assistants, instructional support staff, and extended day coordinator. The Principal oversees all instructional areas of Breakthrough Montessori to ensure that the school’s mission is fully supported and achieved. The Principal is:

The Principal is a 12-month position. Typical working hours are Monday-Friday from 7:45 am-4:15 pm.
