The Del Ray Montessori School (DRMS), located in Alexandria, Va, just outside of Washington DC, is seeking exceptional candidates with an AMI Primary diploma to serve as our Primary Program Coordinator. The Coordinator will support our two primary classrooms by providing guidance and mentorship to primary guides and classroom assistants; coordinating parent events and outreach; occasional substituting; supporting the administrative aspect of this program; and collaborating with school administration. We are seeking enthusiastic, collaborative applicants with a minimum of six years experience as a primary guide, who are passionate about Montessori education, promoting diversity, supporting inclusion, celebrating belonging and who are self-motivated and easily take initiative. Excellent communication skills are required, a strong sense of organization is expected and a keen interest and proficiency in writing is necessary. 

Our school is small and sweet with one toddler classroom, two primary classrooms and one elementary classroom, with an incredible staff who are highly committed to their work and are well supported by administration and parents.
