Child’s View Montessori School has been serving Southwest Portland Oregon for over 35 years! We have 8 classrooms that range from Infancy through Elementary. Currently, we are seeking a Lead Guide for one of our established Primary classrooms to begin at some point this August in preparation for another great year! We are looking for a confident, respectful role-model with a sense of humor, ingenuity, positive attitude and flexibility to boot…now, more than ever! While we know there are so many options in this field, we are confident that CVMS would be a meaningful work environment for a trained guide.

Qualified candidates should be trained by a MACTE accredited training institution and have a strong sense of the Montessori scope and sequence. Ideal candidates will have experience leading a primary classroom; comfortable hiking in local woods and taking care of animals and gardens; as well as comfortable with daily observation and record keeping in transparent classroom (happy to train here).
