Now Seeking for an AMI Primary Guide for 2022/2023
(Position Starts Summer 2022)
Full Time Position for an Established Classroom of 25.
There is a place where your love for Montessori can thrive and where you will see the transformative impact of fully implemented Montessori. We are an Association Montessori International private school, free from mandated standardized tests, and curriculum being imposed upon us from outside our Montessori principles.
We recognize that you, the guide, are the decisive element in the classroom. You will be honored and respected as part of our staff. You will have a voice at North Shore Montessori School, as we empower our students, so too we empower our staff. We are a team of adults who lift each other up while we provide our students a foundation to grow into healthy adults.
You will be encouraged to follow your AMI training, refer to your albums, and fully lean-in to your Montessori practice. You will be given choices about your ongoing professional development, summer schedule, and areas in which you would like to contribute such as helping with our clubs, gardens, parent education, and so much more.
Benefits include, a competitive salary, medical insurance, retirement fund match, professional development, child tuition assistance, AMI membership, and a discretionary classroom materials fund.
Consider joining our team of like-minded, passionate Montessori professionals by emailing your resume to Tracy Theisen, Head of School, at TracyT@MontessoriNorthShore.org. Interviewing will begin in January 2022.
