Oak Meadow Montessori School in Lawrenceville, GA (just Northeast of Atlanta) is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Primary Lead Guide to work with children ages 2.5 to 6 years old for a year-round position beginning June 1, 2022.

Our mission is to awaken every child’s natural desire to learn by cultivating a nurturing, inclusive, and vibrant Montessori experience and we are looking for guides committed to fulfilling that mission. Our campus is on 10+ acres overlooking a lake with many opportunities for environmental learning, including our community gardens; planned and curated with the help of a Master Gardener.

The Primary Lead Guide is Montessori trained by a MACTE-accredited organization and challenges their students to reach their fullest potential spiritually, socially, emotionally, academically, and physically, utilizing the well-prepared Montessori environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy.

The person selected for this position must be professionally prepared as a teacher of young children, especially in the field of early childhood education and the Montessori Method and be able to meet the requirements of the licensing agencies and accrediting bodies governing the school. This person must be a sensitive and mature individual who is able to relate well to both children and adults. Certification as a Montessori Primary teacher through AMS, AMI, or a MACTE accredited institution and a Bachelor’s Degree are required for the Primary Lead Guide position.
