Marin Montessori School is seeking a dynamic Primary Additional School Care (ASC) Specialist for the 2025-2026 school year. The position starts in August 2025.

The Primary ASC Specialist leads our robust after school program by applying Montessori principles, fostering collaboration, independence, and care for the environment. They create a home-like setting with seasonal art, games, books, and outdoor movement activities. Encouraging children to function as a cohesive mixed-age after school community. The role involves consistent supervision, program planning and maintenance of attendance records using Ravenna & Transparent Classroom. Additional duties include conducting the morning playground safety check and setup, providing afternoon support during class lunch and nap time, and overseeing the planning and logistics for four weeks of Summer Camp.

Required  Experience, Qualifications, and Attributes:

12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units; may accept candidates with 6 ECE units, but the candidate must be willing to complete 6 additional units

BA in any field

Experience working with young children

A collaborative and flexible approach to working with colleagues

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds

Ideal Qualifications:

AMI-trained

Masters in Education

Salary: This is a non-exempt, full-time position. Salary range is $28-$37/hr
