Fiore Montessori School is looking for an Operations Manager to be on site at our Beulah Road Campus. We are a fully AMI accredited school with communities spanning the entire age range of 3 months through 15 years. Communities include, Nido, Infant Community (Toddler), Primary Children’s House, Elementary (6 year span) and Adolescent Community. Conveniently located on two neighborhood campuses just 20 miles outside of Washington DC, our environments are beautifully designed and well-equipped with the full range of Nienhuis materials. We also are pleased to have both wooded and grassy outdoor areas for student exploration and physical activities. We currently have 180 students. Role & Responsibilities:
Director ONSITE at our Beulah Rd campus including Daily Operations & All-school Procedures, Staffing & Coverage, Floater & Assistant Daily Oversight (arrivals/dismissals, garden time, lunch/naps), Calendar Appointments, Facility Use and Maintenance, Office Oversight, Purchasing Supplies, Student Record Files and DOE/Licensing Documentation, Fire Drills
All-school Event Planning & Logistics, Classroom Event/Trip Planning Coordination & Documentation
Student Transition Coordination & Scheduling (Toddler to Primary in December; Primary to Elementary in Spring/Fall)
Point of Contact for Staff Emergencies or Urgent Matters
Operational and Community Communications
Our ideal candidate is:
very organized
has strong written and verbal communication in English
Montessori training and/or experience with school operations would be beneficial
