Fiore Montessori School, an independent, AMI-recognized school located in Vienna, VA is seeking  teachers to lead Toddler and Nido classrooms on our campuses for the 2023-24 school year. This is a full-time position with hours from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday-Friday.    

Candidates should be AMI Montessori-trained for the Assistant to Infancy 0-3 level. Recent Montessori graduates with limited experience and anyone currently in mid-training will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide consistent care and direction for children in your care

Observe the children to determine their needs and the timing of lessons

Create a beautifully prepared environment to entice independence

Model appropriate language and interactions

Engage and support the children in a way that achieves normalization, and provides natural consequences that are safe and well-thought through

Train and lead assistants to maintain and organize your environment, and to interact consistently with the children when needed

Record daily observations about each child and provide feedback to parents

Lead the parent community and provide education

Collaborate with the administrative team and other faculty/staff

Support Fiore’s programs and all-school events
