Mission Statement: Montessori School of Casper provides value centered education based on the

Position: Lead Toddler Guide

We are seeking a like-minded individual to lead our toddler program. We are an AMI-USA

accredited school and follow the local school district calendar (limited hours over the summer

months).

The general duties of the lead guide shall include, but shall not necessarily be limited to the

following:

• Prepare a developmentally appropriate AMI Montessori environment in line with AMIUSA Assistant’s to Infancy Training

• Rotate materials regularly based on observation of needs and interests of the community

• Prepare appropriate lessons for each child based on observation

• Implement and encourage toileting independence within the community

• Monitor student progress (academic, motor, social emotional, self-care independence)

• Train classroom assistant in Montessori philosophy and maintain open communication

with all staff

• Establish relationships with the children and families, and provide parent education

Minimum Education Requirements

• AMI-USA Assistant’s to Infancy Diploma
