The Montessori Private School Director oversees daily operations and educational programs, ensuring Montessori principles are upheld. With teaching and administrative experience, she/he will lead staff, cultivate a positive culture, manage curriculum, ensure compliance, and a nurtured learning environment for children aged 3 months to 6 years while maintaining rapport with parents.


Leadership and Management:

Offer visionary leadership, fostering collaboration and support among staff.

Supervise hiring, training, and overseeing teaching and administrative staff.

Conduct regular staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Cultivate positive relationships with parents, encouraging open communication.

Curriculum Development and Implementation:

Develop and implement a Montessori-based curriculum meeting educational standards.

Support teachers in curriculum planning, instructional strategies, and assessments.

Hold weekly meetings with Lead Teachers to assess and support classroom operations.

Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health, safety, and accreditation standards.

Regularly assess facilities, equipment, and materials for safety and engagement.

Develop and implement policies promoting best practices in early childhood education.

Financial Management:

Manage the preschool budget to support program goals.

Monitor expenses, revenue, and fundraising to ensure financial stewardship.

Community Engagement and Outreach:

Act as a liaison between the preschool and families, fostering positive relationships.

Organize and participate in community events and outreach activities.


Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field.

Montessori teaching certification – AMI or AMS.

Minimum 3 years teaching in a Montessori preschool.

Minimum 5 years in school administration or leadership.

Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and pedagogy.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
