Lee Montessori’s Brookland campus is an accredited, public Montessori school located in northeast DC dedicated to creating a more just, liberated world for our diverse students and families. Our school enrolls approximately 280 students in grades PK3 – 6 with a dedicated staff of 60 educators. Since opening in 2014, Lee Montessori has promoted the growth and development of our students through the Montessori method, a developmentally appropriate approach to academic learning and social-emotional development.

Summary of Qualifications
The Principal will serve as the instructional and cultural leader for our school community and must have previous experience successfully managing an instructional team. The preferred candidate will have previous Montessori experience and a minimum of five years of teaching and/or administrative experience. Compensation will be competitive within the DC charter school sector and commensurate with the applicant’s education and experience.
