Cascadia School Seeks Lower Elementary Guide; Vancouver, WA

Cascadia School seeks a Lower Elementary Guide (1st – 3rd grade) for the 2025-2026 school year. The Lower Elementary Guide will join our Elementary Program, which consists of three Lower Elementary Classrooms,  two Upper Elementary Classrooms, and a Middle School.

Our ideal candidate has an AMI Elementary diploma and three years of experience in a Montessori classroom, a Bachelor’s Degree, and a state teaching credential. The candidate has the ability to understand and work with a diverse range of learning styles.

The applicant is committed to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion work and can collaborate with others, communicate effectively, have strong organizational skills, and build positive relationships with students, families, and coworkers.

This is an exempt, full-time, salaried position. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM, with occasional evening and weekend events throughout the school year.  Benefits include medical and dental insurance, a Simple IRA retirement plan, PTO, and a professional development stipend.

Our Montessori school is located in Vancouver, Washington, on 2.0 acres and is adjacent to Tranquility Green Space. Cascadia serves children in 1st through 8th grades. Our students come from local Children’s Houses and private and public schools.
