The Del Ray Montessori School (DRMS), located just outside Washington, D.C., seeks exceptional candidates with an AMI diploma at the Primary level (or in training!) to join our team in the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for enthusiastic, collaborative applicants serious about Montessori education, promoting diversity, supporting inclusion, celebrating belonging, and having big hearts and fun-loving spirits!

Our school is small and sweet! We have one toddler classroom, two primary classrooms, and one elementary classroom. There are about 50 students and 12 staff members. Our incredible team loves what they do and is supported by the administration and parents.

We offer competitive salaries and generous benefits, including top-of-the-line health insurance, for which DRMS pays 80% of the premium, and a retirement plan that DRMS matches up to 3% of your annual salary. DRMS also provides short- and long-term disability and life insurance (at no expense to the employee), ten (10) days for personal time off, and several professional development opportunities sponsored by the school throughout the year. Every staff member also receives a professional development budget!

Successful candidates will possess an AMI diploma (or be currently enrolled in AMI training) at the Primary level, be committed to learning and growing as educators, strongly desire to work in a community guided by respect for humanity, and embody the values of the Montessori philosophy at all times. Candidates will also have a teamwork ethic, a genuine desire to collaborate with others, and a steadfast sense of professionalism.
