Nature’s Way Montessori, Napa CA is seeking a charismatic, experienced Guide to join our growing nature-based program. Steeped deeply into cosmic education, gardening, hiking, camping, and land preservation projects will all be a part of the program. We are in our second year with 15 children for the fall.
Nature’s Way Montessori is a nature-based Montessori program following AMI principles. We are soon celebrating 10 years in Napa and excited about our growing program. Our goal at NWM is for every child to leave with a life-long love for learning, the skill and ability to collaborate with others, and absolutely knowing how interconnected they are to all things.
Applicants should:
AMI Montessori training at elementary level.
3-5 years experience in the classroom as a lead
A deep knowledge and love of Montessori theory
A love of nature…
Innovative problem solving skills
A desire to connect a community of staff, parents, and students to our vision
Flexibility in addressing children’s needs
Excellent observation skills
Accountability to lesson plans
Great communication skills with parents
The ability to listen and be present
The hours will be 730-400 with a mid-August and mid-June contract
