Montessori Children’s House of Hyde Park is a thriving Montessori school committed to providing a nurturing and intellectually stimulating environment for children. We aim to foster independence, curiosity, and a love for learning in each of our students. Our Lower Elementary program serves children ages 6 to 9, and we are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and compassionate AMI Montessori-certified teacher to join our team.
As a Lower Elementary AMI Montessori Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a classroom environment that encourages the social, emotional, and academic development of the students. You will guide students in their exploration of the Montessori curriculum, supporting them in becoming independent, confident learners.
Qualifications:
• AMI Montessori Lower Elementary Certification (6-9 years old)
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (preferred)
• Previous experience teaching in a Montessori classroom
• Strong understanding of the Montessori method and philosophy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with children and fostering their growth and development
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Enthusiasm for professional growth and learning
