Urban Montessori Charter School, the only public Montessori school in Oakland, CA is looking for Montessori teachers passionate about bringing Montessori pedagogy to a diverse population of students in the public sector! We are currently looking for Montessori teachers at the Primary, Elementary, and Adolescent levels as we look to continue growing in the 2022-2023 school year!
The ideal candidate has a passion for public education and has a personal mission to bring equity through Montessori in the public sector.
Lead Teachers are responsible for leading the implementation of the instructional program and work in
collaboration with the Support Teachers, Administration, SpEd team, and UMCS community to create a child-centered, powerful educational experience for Urban Montessori’s students.
