Paché Montessori School is seeking a Head of School

Located in the heart of Cobble Hill (Brooklyn, New York), Paché Montessori delivers an exceptional Montessori education experience, nurturing children from infants of 3 months to 6-year-olds in Kindergarten in nine classrooms and up to approximately 120 students. Our passionate educators foster independence, curiosity, and empathy within an authentic Montessori environment.

Key Features: Authentic Montessori program, highly trained staff, Spanish immersion option, extensive 25,000 sq. ft. facility including a rooftop playground, outdoor terrace, and indoor gross motor space, and a community-oriented approach to education.

This position is available for an immediate start for the right candidate.

Job Summary:
As a visionary and committed leader, you will oversee the full-time year-round operations of our school, leading our administrative team and working with our Co-Executive Directors. Your leadership will focus on developing a high-performing team, ensuring the delivery of quality Montessori education, cultivating strong relationships with staff, students, and parents, and overseeing strategic growth plans.

Responsibilities:
Your role will encompass leadership and management of day-to-day school operations, driving staff professional growth, fostering community, recruiting and hiring top-quality educators, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and strategizing to drive enrollment.

Qualifications:
We seek candidates with several years of leadership experience, preferably in early childhood Montessori education, with exceptional communication and administrative skills, experience in talent development, and a passion for education and the Montessori method.

Ideal candidates will also have a strong understanding of Montessori education, a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, a valid NY teaching license or certificate for early childhood grades, and meet the requirements for a NYC Article 47 education director. At least two years of lead teacher experience in a program for children less than six years of age is preferred.
