Valley Forge Kinder House Montessori School was founded in 1977 by Susan and Ed Kelly. Committed to offering a quality, genuine Montessori experience, the Kelly’s have dedicated themselves to promoting the pedagogy and fostering the growth of not just the students of VFKH, but the parents and teachers as well. VFKH has two campuses, one in Limerick, Pa and one in Phoenixville, Pa, offering Toddler through 6th grade Montessori environments. VFKH is proud to be a recognized AMI Montessori school where independence, respect and a love of learning can foster and flourish.

The Elementary class is a well-established combined Lower & Upper Elementary environment. The Guide/Teacher will be a trained AMI Montessorian committed to leading these children through Cosmic Education.
Our new teacher will be responsible for guiding the curriculum, fostering deep thinking, assisting with parent education, and partaking in all school activities. The Guide should possess a committed understanding and passion for authentic Montessori, as well as have the desire to work collaboratively within our community.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
– AMI Elementary certificate
– Experience preferred but others will be considered.
– Pass all state and local clearances.
– PA teacher license or the qualifications to obtain one
Salary:
Negotiable. Meets or exceeds area independent school norms. VFKH will assist with moving/relocation expenses.
