Springmont is currently accepting resumes for an Elementary Guide interested in teaching a small class of Elementary students (Lower and Upper Elementary combined) remotely for the 2020-21 academic year. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and an AMI (6-12) diploma. At least three years’ experience in a Montessori environment is preferred.
While children in the Remote Learning class would be learning entirely from home, the Remote Learning Teacher could work from a designated on-campus space with access to the Montessori materials and other resources needed to create a rich and complete online learning experience. Students would also receive live lessons from our team of specialists (Art, Music, PE, Outdoor Science Education, Spanish and Media).
Springmont is Atlanta’s first Montessori school, celebrating 56 years of authentic Montessori education. Serving 240 students 18 months through 8th grade, Springmont offers competitive salaries commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes individual health, dental, vision and disability insurance, as well as a matching retirement plan, professional development opportunities and tuition remission. Come experience the personal and professional rewards of working alongside some of the most respected Montessori teachers in Georgia.
Interested candidates should email firstname.lastname@example.org, providing a brief cover letter in the body of the email and a resume as an attachment. Only candidates of interest will be contacted.
