Countryside Day School is seeking an AMI trained lead teacher for an established Upper Elementary Class. CDS is a non-profit, independent school founded in 1967, ISACS accredited for 15+ years. The school is located in a pleasant Chicago suburb on 4 acres. Enrollment is 170 students. Average tenure of teachers at CDS is fifteen years. CDS is an amazing place to work. Staff are dedicated, joyful, and professional. Position involves working collaboratively with the Early Childhood Team to create an educational experience for students that emphasizes independence. Our staff is a professional and dynamic one. We work hard, and we love what we do. 100% of staff indicated they would recommend this school to peers for job placement on recent ISACS survey. We love work because we value what we do and appreciate what we have. This is a salaried position starting in the $60,000 range. In addition, benefits are $10,000 pre-tax dollars which can be used toward health insurance, childcare fees, or 401K.
