Madison Community Montessori School is seeking its next Director of Education for the 2021-22 school year, a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the delivery of excellent AMI Montessori education to students from 15 months through age 14. The Director of Education will supervise the school’s faculty and specialists, coordinate parent education events, and work to support student growth and uphold our mission: respecting children and their natural joy of discovery. This position reports to and works closely with the Head of School, participating in recruitment, enrollment, and programming decisions of the school. This is a full-time, year-round position, with part-time hours during summer months.
Proven effectiveness in an AMI classroom for at least 5 years, experience communicating Montessori pedagogy to those within and outside the Montessori community, and excellent organizational skills are required. Preference will be given to individuals with AMI training at more than one level.
