Children’s Own School is recruiting toddler and primary trained guides and assistants. We have operated a primary Montessori program since 1942. We want to talk with individuals committed to building a strong AMI presence in the Boston area, and to help Children’s Own School as we begin the process of accreditation in 2022-23.

We are the site of the Boston-area primary satellite training offered by the Montessori Training Center Northeast. We are fortunate to have a beautiful facility with ample outdoor space for all classrooms to play outside simultaneously. We honor an uninterrupted three-hour morning work cycle.

We use a coaching model with support from our AMI trained director of education. Our head of school is primary and elementary trained with experience teaching both levels. We have strong community support and full enrollment.

We are located 8 miles north of Boston, on the commuter rail. Boston is an economic hub, and the capital city of progressive Massachusetts. Cambridge and Somerville are nearby smaller cities with universities and the associated vibrant cultural benefits and neighborhood businesses. The beaches of Cape Cod are close by, the Berkshire mountains are two hours to the west, and the Green and White Mountains of neighboring Vermont and New Hampshire offer skiing and hiking opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast. We enjoy four distinct seasons in New England.
