Ruffing Montessori School, an independent, co-educational school serving children 18 months through 8th grade, in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, seeks bright, energetic, and collaborative individuals to serve as a classroom assistant. Part-time and full-time positions are available in the Toddler Community (ages 18 months to 3 years), Children’s House (ages 3 to 6 years), Lower Elementary (ages 6 to 9 years), and/or Upper Elementary (9 to 12 years) programs. The incumbent will assist the Lead Teacher in caring for and guiding the meaningful work of children throughout their school day. A classroom assistant works collaboratively with a trained Montessori teacher to support the day-to-day maintenance of the classroom, facilitate transitions, and maintain routines of the day.
