Located just on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco in beautiful Corte Madera, California, Marin Montessori School seeks a full-time Montessori-trained faculty member to join our team.

The new faculty member will offer meaningful and contextualized Spanish language enrichment for Primary and Lower Elementary children (ages 2.5-9 years old). Using creativity, this faculty member will be responsible for crafting small group and individual experiences that bring the Spanish language alive and foster the joy of learning a second language. This position is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with an experienced and dedicated AMI-trained faculty at both levels.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree

Successful completion of Background Check (through the Department of Justice)

Previous work verification

Fluent Spanish speaker

Flexibility and warmth, along with a high degree of professionalism and a strong work ethic

A collaborative work style

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish

Experience with fostering and maintaining excellent professional relationships with students, parents, faculty, and administration

Preferred Experience and Attributes:

A committed, deep understanding and passion for authentic Montessori pedagogy and practice

AMI  Diploma (or in the process of earning a Primary or Elementary diploma)

Confidence and experience in the lessons and extensions for Spanish language exposure and learning in Primary and Elementary classrooms

This is an exempt, full-time teaching position. The salary and benefits package is very competitive, matching or exceeding Bay Area independent school norms.
