Ruffing Montessori School in Rocky River, Ohio is seeking trained AMI upper elementary teacher.

Ruffing is currently led by an AMI trained head of school with 25 years experience teaching upper elementary at Ruffing. Founded in 1959, Ruffing dedicates itself to providing a quality Montessori education for children ages 3 through Grade 8. It is the second oldest Montessori School in the United States, has a multimillion dollar endowment, and an annual waiting list. Ruffing’s best trait is its warm and giving community, its high caliber children, and its reputation in the community for uncompromised high academic standards. Ruffing has continuity of leadership and faculty over the last fifty years, unshakeable self-confidence, and a welcoming and collaborative spirit both in staff, board relationships, and families.

Ruffing is located minutes from downtown Cleveland, Ohio and currently serves 300 children, with three primary classes, three lower elementary classes, two upper elementary classes, and a middle school. Ruffing recently completed a 10,000+ square foot addition which houses the upper elementary environments and middle school.
