Corvallis Montessori School, located in the vibrant college town of Corvallis, Oregon, is currently seeking an AMI-trained Primary guide to lead a primary class in the fall of 2023 beginning August 22, 2023. Corvallis Montessori School is a well-established AMI Recognized Montessori school, serving families in the Willamette Valley since 1967.

Our lovely campus is tucked away in a charming neighborhood within walking distance of a food cooperative, and park. Each of our four primary classrooms and two toddler classrooms have beautiful outdoor extensions with mature trees, vines, and a beautiful assortment of flowering vegetation.

Corvallis is a family-friendly community, with many bike paths and parks to explore. Its proximity to the Oregon coast, the Coastal and Cascade mountain ranges, and many rivers, lakes, and forests make it a nature lover’s paradise.

Our ideal candidate will have:

AMI Primary diploma and 3-5 years of teaching experience (please note, new graduates will also be considered for the position)

Lead Teacher Qualifications as required by the Oregon Early Learning Division

Good organizational and time management skills

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

A spirit of collaboration, flexibility, and a strong desire to bring joy into the school community
