Are you passionate about the Montessori Methodology & Philosophy? Does your heart yearn to guide your students in a beautiful and authentic Montessori prepared environment that is true to the integrity of Dr. Maria Montessori? The foundation of our school is built upon grace and courtesy, wherein our faculty members are truly cherished and respected. We are seeking AMI Lead Guides that are warmhearted and who offer the children both love and knowledge, as they are interrelated. You will be delighted to finally be able to observe and guide the infants within your Nido environment, as they freely choose their work with real life materials and motives of interest. You will enjoy collaborating with other dedicated AMI Guides and our Head of School who is AMI certified, as well.
Our school is located in the lovely neighborhood of Hinsdale, Illinois. This position is a full-time salaried position, commencing in early 2025. All Guides are required to work Monday through Friday, conduct daily observations, record keeping, attend all faculty meetings and all school events.
Requirements for the position:
You must hold an A.M.I. Assistants to Infancy (0-3) Diploma and a minimum of three years of Lead Guide experience, within the Nido environment.
You must exemplify a calm and nurturing spirit to lead our students and establish a normalized environment, with heavy emphasis on grace and courtesy.
