Christian Family Montessori School
Christian Family Montessori School is accepting applications for AMI trained guides at the Primary and Upper Elementary level who are seeking a welcoming community that values collaboration and inclusivity. We are looking for guides who are passionate about working with children and have an optimistic view of the capacities of children.
Established in 1981, CFMS serves a diverse student body of 105 students ages 3-12 in the heart of Washington DC. Unique among the region’s independent schools, our lower tuition attracts families who wouldn’t otherwise consider private education. Our school is committed to authentic Montessori education, social justice and is proactively engaged in anti-bias/anti-racism work. CFMS serves the development of the whole child-academic, social and spiritual-by pairing Montessori with the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. We are a Montessori school that honors and guides all students to reach their full potential.
Compensation includes a competitive salary, health, retirement, and professional development. Positions require an AMI diploma and authorization to work in the
