Montessori at Roseborough is an AMI recognized school (0-3 through 15 years) that has been educating Prenatal to Adolescent children for 35 years in sunny Mount Dora, Florida. We are accepting applications for an Elementary guide for the 2021-2022 school year.
Our school has two 6-12 classrooms that share a through-way and an outdoor space. Together, these Elementary classrooms form a beautiful, lively learning community, to which each guide has the opportunity to bring individual strengths and interests. Beyond the work in the classroom, the Elementary guide will direct the children in school community events. Walking field trips and local community participation, as well as going outs, are all part of our thriving Elementary program. Staff and children walk to our charming downtown, a nearby scenic lake, shops, lovely parks, inviting nature trails, library and art center. The 9-12 year old children also participate in an annual trip to Sea Camp in the Florida Keys. We enjoy the participation of our staff and families in our efforts to build a successful school community.
A bachelor’s degree and an AMI Elementary diploma are required. The ideal candidate has at least two years experience. Salary is based upon experience and education level.
