Montessori School Expanding

Need 3 great people to join our community!

Housed in a beautiful 1750s Dutch barn on a budding permaculture farm, Catskill Montessori School opened in fall of 2020.

We are a private, non-profit school inspired by permaculture ethics: people care, earth care, and fair share. We opened with one 3-6 class and one 6-9 class. Due to interest, we are adding a Montessori toddler community, another 3-6 class, and expanding our elementary program to include 6-12.

With our expansion, we are seeking an experienced early childhood guide, elementary 6-12 co-teacher, and an elementary assistant. Ideal candidates need to be MACTE-accredited with experience in the appropriate level. Farming, permaculture, or similar experience or interest is a big plus!

What we offer: competitive salary (commensurate with experience), health benefits, Montessori conferences allowance, and tuition assistance for dependent children.

Catskill is equidistant from Boston and New York City (about two hours), with easy access to both. With many quaint towns nearby, including Hudson, with Amtrak service to NYC, Catskill offers the charm, culture, and environment of the farm and forest.
