Current Searches include:

Lead Guide for our Young Children’s Community (YCC), for children ages 18 months – 3 years.

YCC lead guides are responsible for the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth and development of 12 students in a full-day, multi-age environment. Lead guides work collaboratively with the assistant guides to prepare and maintain a Montessori environment, including developmentally appropriate materials and activities. The Lead teacher is responsible for preparing and maintaining a Montessori environment and observing, directing and supervising children in accordance with Montessori pedagogy and Pinewoods Montessori School policies.

Qualifications:

Montessori training diploma for 0-3 years (required)

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred)

3+ years of experience working with children 18 months – 3 years of age (preferred)

Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills (required)
