Montessori Trained Director

We want to open as an AMI recognized school. EYAS global Montessori is committed to the development of children's wholesome growth and human personality. Eyas Global Montessori is seeking a Montessori-trained Director as soon as possible. This is a full-time, salaried position. We offer a competitive salary with benefits. The ideal candidate will demonstrate passion for the education of children, be an outstanding communicator, and possess strong management skills. He/She should be able to provide strong leadership and share his/her knowledge to help the staff develop their talents as teachers and future leaders. He or She should be able to articulate and follow-through on plans to support and expand the program, and provide a positive face for the school.
Communicate with the local licensor and prepare all the necessary documents for licensing, ensuring compliance with Montessori, state and local requirements
Prepare the parent handbook, including educational philosophy of the school, educational content (what is the teaching content)
Enrollment plan and conduct.
Performing as Head Teacher initially in the classroom in the beginning developmental stage of the school.

Creating and promoting strong partnerships with parents and the community. Working with the board of directors to forward the mission of the school. Create ideas for the teaching and further development of the school.
AMI certified primary teacher (3-6 years old), with minimum 3 years of working experience as head teacher of a Montessori classroom in Washington State. Prefer previous experience as a director of a pre-school with administrative management skills or similar kind.
