Montessori School of Lake Forest, Illinois is a 220+ student AMI affiliated program serving students 8 weeks through 9th grade in an upscale setting north of Chicago. MSLF has two campuses, consisting of a spacious main campus with an extensive outdoor learning environment and a land-based adolescent program campus. Currently the school offers the following programs: 1 Parent Infant, 2 Toddler, 5 Primary, 2 Lower Elementary, 1 Upper Elementary, and 1 Adolescent Program.

We are seeking an AMI-trained 0-3 teacher for our Toddler program for the 2012-2013 school year. Applicants should possess a strong AMI foundation, previous classroom experience, and a willingness to work in partnership with an experienced faculty and supportive parent community. In addition to educating the students of the Toddler classroom, the candidate will be able to engage in partnerships across the school’s programs, in parent education, retention efforts, community building and fund raising related efforts.
