Hartford Public Schools Montessori Initiative is accepting applications from AMI certified Primary, Elementary and Adolescent guides dedicated to authentic Montessori practice in a public school setting.

The HPS Montessori Initiative is a pathway for a public Montessori education from Primary through High School.  Currently with two primary/elementary schools, there will be the addition of an Erdkinder and High school over the next five years.  Currently serving over 300 children between 3 and 12 years, the schools have well-equipped classrooms, AMI trained leadership, AMI Montessori coaches, a supportive community, and proximity to an AMI Training Center.
