Marin Montessori School (www.marinmontessori.org) seeks a head of school who is an experienced, progressive educational leader – a person excited to lead with energy, joy and inspiration to make MMS the international model school it desires and has the potential and resources to be. Founded in 1963, serves 230 students from toddler age through age 15 on two campuses in Marin County. The Toddler through Upper Elementary programs are on its Corte Madera campus overlooking San Francisco Bay, and the Junior High School/Erdkinder program is currently located in leased space on the grounds of St. Vincent’s School in San Rafael, ten minutes from the main campus.

The next head will lead a school in an environment that both internally and externally is poised to achieve a position, nationally and internationally, of an educational model of excellence. The successful candidate needs to be inspired and inspiring to make this possibility a reality. MMS seeks an experienced, good-humored, successful and energetic school leader who will champion the school’s goal of being a model program of excellence and who will enthusiastically embrace and support the MMS mission and community.
